Located at the foot of Mount Yuwandake, Amami Oshima's highest peak, beautiful classical music is constantly playing from the storage tanks of this brewery. This is the unique "acoustic aging" method known for its flagship brand, "Rento." The subtle vibrations of the music slowly blend the components of the shochu with the water molecules, resulting in a surprisingly mellow, rounded flavor.
As the auspicious company name "Kaiun" (Good Luck) suggests, the drink has a gentle, clear taste that opens the drinker's heart and brings good fortune. It has gained immense support from shochu beginners and women.
