Pour it into a glass and you'll be captivated by its beautiful pale golden color (champagne gold). Carefully selected barley shochu is gently aged in oak barrels, adding sweet aromas of vanilla and nuts from the barrel to the natural barley aroma. It has the rich body of whiskey, but the clean aftertaste is typical of shochu. It's a versatile drink that pairs well with both Japanese and Western cuisine.
Recommended way to drink: Mix it with carbonated water to make a delicious "Sakuragake Highball." It pairs perfectly with snacks such as fried foods, smoked cheese, and nuts.
