"Chushinzo" is a special limited edition sake that is imbued with the desire to connect the spirits of those who drink shochu with the spirits of the brewer.

Among them, "Freshly Distilled Muroka" is in a class of its own. The freshly distilled raw liquor is bottled without filtering (muroka), leaving the fusel oils and gases that give it its umami flavor intact. When you open the bottle, a rich aroma reminiscent of freshly steamed sweet potatoes fills the room. When you take a sip, you'll be hit with an oily, melting sweetness along with the alcoholic feel of 30% (the alcohol content may vary depending on the year, but is usually high). You'll be amazed at how delicious shochu is "unfiltered."
