Characteristics: A premium plum liquor with a smoky and fruity flavor, aged in Komagatake whiskey barrels.
This ume fusion blends the refreshing acidity of Shinshu's finest Ryukyo Koume plums with the aroma of the oak casks used to nurture Mars Whisky Komagatake. When you put it in your mouth, the natural fruitiness of the plums is complemented by the vanilla aroma and subtle peat (smoke) notes of the whiskey. This "Evening Umeshu" is for adults who have moved beyond simply sweet umeshu and appreciate the real flavor.
Recommended drinking method: Straight or on the rocks. Also enjoy it as an "adult dessert" by pouring it over vanilla ice cream.
